HOUSTON -- A fire has broken out at an Islamic community and education center in Houston.
The Houston Fire Department responded around 5:30am this morning to a structure fire at the Quba (KOH'-buh) Islamic Institute.
Flames could be seen burning a structure.

The only thing suspicious about this fire is that it occurred just a couple of days after the shooting of the Muslims in North Carolina, which generated protests by Muslim groups around the country. It could therefore be an effort to gin-up sympathy for Muslims, to make them seem like a besieged group, or, on the other hand, it could be some sort of semi-copycat crime by someone who just realized he doesn’t like Muslims. Or it could just be an accident.
Do they need any gasloline?
Was it caused by a youtube video?
Quick! Someone grab a slab of ribs and some bacon!
And then .. they take the money and run ..??
Maybe to some other unsuspecting location.
I hope the firefighters did not over exert themselves.

There was a storefront mosque burned several years ago in Coldwater Michigan. 2 men were seen running from the scene (on fire)
A couple hours later they showed up 60 or 70 miles away in Jackson where they were looking for a hospital. They told police that a group of black men had doused them with gas and set them on fire.
They both died several days later in agony but not before confessing that they had set the fire for a Detroit man who owned a string of mosques all across the midwest.
