Sorry, about the accident!

I appreciate you providing an example of a shotgun that actually holds three rounds but I think it is stretching possibility that he had the same gun.

Especially since he was expecting a dance. I know if I was expecting trouble I would have a little more firepower than that.

BTW, when I used to take my guns fishing a I tied a crap ton of bobbers on them just in case. Sadly it was the volcano visit that defeated the bobbers.

I was not implying that he had a Remington Model 11, merely pointing out that guns which hold 3 rounds do exist.

Additionally, some states/localities limit shotgun magazines to three rounds for hunting purposes. My Mossberg 500 (RIP) came with a wooden dowel “plug” which could be inserted in the magazine tube to reduce its capacity to three.
