I was not implying that he had a Remington Model 11, merely pointing out that guns which hold 3 rounds do exist.

Additionally, some states/localities limit shotgun magazines to three rounds for hunting purposes. My Mossberg 500 (RIP) came with a wooden dowel “plug” which could be inserted in the magazine tube to reduce its capacity to three.

I appreciate that as I have never seen a three round shotgun so I am assuming they are somewhat rare and not one’s “go to” gun for a potential fire fight.

My point is that had this been me no matter what I took out of the safe I would have a minimum of six rounds in my weapon. Also if I ran out I would do a New York reload (pulling out a second and then third gun if necessary).

I just find this a bit problematic.
