"NBC Nightly News" anchorman Brian Williams frequently fabricated a dramatic story that he was under enemy attack while reporting from Iraq. NBC is now investigating whether Williams also embellished events in New Orleans during his reporting on Hurricane Katrina.
Williams always plays the hero in his yarns, braving natural and hostile human enemies to deliver us the truth on the evening news.

MSM news anchors usually lie for political purposes and for politicians who lie to the people as a matter of course and they rarely suffer any consequences (GH $ GW Bush, Bill & Hillary Clinton, Obama, Reid, Pelosi, too many to keep listing here). Common knowledge has it that in most cases, political lies results in more power for the politician liar and results in serious costs and consequences to the people, which is FRAUD. But the American people can’t tolerate a lying news figure?? Credibility issue?? ..........Tolerance to political lies and deceptions is at the very heart of the reason this country is suffering and imploding.
You nailed it!
In the article directed at Zakaria’s plagiarism, it was lefties that outed him (and he is prolific, including a story about martinis) and they are not happy that they misuse their work. CNN has barely tapped him on the wrist.
He mis lied. Meaning he got caught.
