Uncle Sam is the only real winner of lotteries.

Everybody takes their after-tax earnings, and puts in in a huge pot.

Eventually, someone takes 60% of the pot, and the Feds take 40%.

So it’s like everybody is just giving Uncle Sam 40% of their money.

It’s just fun to dream. A dollar or two every few months, which is what I spend on the lotto, costs less than soda pop.
