Gavin Newsom announces he'll run for California governor in 2018

California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom is opening a campaign committee to run for governor in 2018, becoming the first candidate to enter the race, he announced Wednesday.

"I've never been a fan of pretense or procrastination. After all, our state is defined by its independent, outspoken spirit. When Californians see something we truly believe in, we say so and act accordingly -- without evasiveness or equivocation," Newsom wrote in a Facebook post. "So today I'm announcing that I'm creating a committee to run for California Governor in 2018. Because I truly and passionately believe in the future of this great state."

Newsom praised Gov. Jerry Brown's "remarkable leadership," but said the Golden State's "long-term challenges remain daunting -- we must continue to grow our economy and create private-sector jobs, we must invest in public education and keep college affordable, we must address the widening inequalities that separate our communities and we must maintain California's historic leadership in meeting the climate challenge."

“Any Threesome Newsome”. With all the freaks & illegals in California, he will be a shoe-in. He is reported to be a sexual deviant.

They deserve what they get.

Gavin Newsome was Mayor of SF and was married to Kimberly Guilfoyle

But she still is close friends with some of their old mutual friends like Pelosi, Feinstein, etc.

This is about as significant as who decides to be a ‘community leader’ of a 45 year old trailer park.

We need recall of Moombeam

Respectfully, not so sure about that. Remember, we recalled Gray Davis, and ended up with (R)nold . . . . :(

His aunt is Nancy Pelosi and I’m certain he will be heavily supported from an organizational standpoint, as well financially.

Pelosi isn’t some friend.

Nancy is Gavin’s aunt.

Well Moonbeam is only 76, and history shows that leftys with gold plated healthcare tend to live a LONG time (Soros, Castro bros, J. Carter, etc)

A Hollywood action hero, an ossified lefty hippy - now a cuckolding bimbo underwear model.

And all three liberal democrats! Sadly my fellow Californians, idiots that they are (the democrats that is) will vote him in, because they have been doing so well for the state don't you know.
