Starting in 2016, the Transportation Security Administration will require all airline passengers to present a REAL ID compliant identification card or a passport in order to board a flight. The Department of Homeland Security estimates that 20-30% of Americans live in jurisdictions that are not REAL ID compliant, meaning their driver's licenses will no longer be accepted during security checks at the airport.

If the darkened states have ‘real ID’ licenses, No way that is 70% of the population.
So glad we have an RV. At least at this point we don’t have to show any “papers”.
That map looks rather out of date.
According to the DHS website, only these remaining seven states are not still REAL ID compliant:

The source article says you’ll need either a pastor or a Real ID driver’s license.
Well unless you look like a Muzz then you just walk right on by.
