I think Ted Cruz just may give Newt a run for his money with respect to that this election season.

Newt may be a very good debater, but he pales in comparison to Ted Cruz; plus Cruz does not have all the personal baggage like Newt.

Newt is the best conservative spokesman/debater in the business. He's past his sell-by date. Cruz is better representing himself, and is a great debater in his own right. He won some competitions in debate in his past.
Newt goes all weird on things. Remember when he was in love with Alvin and Heidi Toffler? Remember when he made commericals with Al Sharpton and took up minority education as a crusade?
He's a smart guy, and he gets bored, and flits from topic to topic . An intellectual gadfly. It makes him really interesting and smart, but it's not the best trait in a politician, particularly an executive.

Cruz would be better served with Newt as his spokesman. Newt is the best conservative spokesman/debater in the business. Newt should stay behind the scenes and be an advisor to all the conservative candidates. He should have done last time.
