Newt is the best conservative spokesman/debater in the business. He's past his sell-by date. Cruz is better representing himself, and is a great debater in his own right. He won some competitions in debate in his past.

Newt goes all weird on things. Remember when he was in love with Alvin and Heidi Toffler? Remember when he made commericals with Al Sharpton and took up minority education as a crusade?

He's a smart guy, and he gets bored, and flits from topic to topic . An intellectual gadfly. It makes him really interesting and smart, but it's not the best trait in a politician, particularly an executive.

Newt brags about being a progressive.........
you know...................HIMSELF..

He must mean “really” progressive not like the commies.. who are regressive..
The punch line on this is lame... if not politically stupid..

The article concerns Cruz hiring a “communications adviser”. My point is why not hire Newt instead of Newt’s adviser? If Cruz intends to run for POTUS he could use some coaching on getting his point across without pissing off the electorate who are not rightwingnuts like us. Nobody is better than Newt at doing that.
