In a sign of the growing pressure Hillary Clinton faces from the left, the Working Families Party is considering backing the movement to draft Sen. Elizabeth Warren to run for President, the Daily News has learned.
One person said the effort was not so much a bid to get the Massachusetts senator to run but to Warrenize Hillary by pushing her to adopt more liberal policies.
At a meeting of the WFPs advisory council last week, executive committee members wanted to bring the idea to a vote, sources said.
Those pushing to publicly back Warren who has said she will not run for President included Communications Workers of America, a union that represents 70,000 local members; the labor-backed New York Communities for Change; and the community group Make the Road Action Fund.

Communists under a different name.
Dumbest name for a political party ever.
I’m old, retired, and the family is long gone.
Guess they don’t want me-—or anyone like me.
.
The “Working Families Party”. ROTFL!!! Somebody been hittin’ da happy smoke!
They are a scheme by labor unions to provide NY democrats with a second ballot line.
Incarcerated drug dealing families.
You're missing an important point. That party doesn't want you if your household has *ever* been self sufficient...has *ever* been an intact "husband, wife and kids" household.
Same deal when you see a country with "people" or "people's republic".
Again, commie. Where the regular "people" don't have diddly squat.
I think this is better than hildebeast because Warren hasn’t the same name recognition.
The Bitch not Communist enough for them? What a choice, Stalinist or Maoist? All things considered, Hitlery is more like her namesake.
An old, worn out Stalinist vs. a rapidly aging Stalinist. Commie ‘RATS are afraid a health-challenged Hillary won’t finish the job of destroying America that Bathhouse Barry started.
GOlly, just what we need - another senator in the WH who has just a little over 2 years experience - now, that seems to eliminate Ted Cruz - but, it’s just fine with the DEMONcrats.
Same with CT.
Why not the successfully elected the sandanista dablowjob in NYC
The Rent is Too Damn High Party takes that prize.
Teh fifth party in New York, of 8 that have permanent ballot status (for 4 years, anyway.)
Democratic Party
Republican Party
Conservative Party
Green Party
Working Families Party
Independence Party
Women’s Equality Party
Stop Common Core Party
Oddly, the last two got the necessary 50,000 votes for governor to qualify them for a permanent line through 2018 (meaning that they don’t have to petition their way onto the ballot) despite not even being real parties. The Women’s Equality was Cuomo’s phantom third line and the Stop Common Core Party was Astorino’s.
New York is one of just three states that allows cross-endorsement (meaning you can run on more than one party, such as Republican-Conservative.)
The Working Families Party, like the Liberal Party before it, usually cross-endorses Democrats. The only time that the Liberal Party didn’t endorse the Democrat candidate for President was 1980, when it gave its line to John Anderson.
The Liberal Party had a rule that nobody who had ever been involved with the Communists could receive its nomination. The WFP does not.
The New York courts ruled in 1964 that the electors, not the nominees, are the legal parties-in-interest.
WTF is a “working family?” From what I gather it consists of losers on welare that might be underqualified to clean toilets at a gas station, but have some sort jo for which they think they should be paid the same as a cardiac surgeon.
do it,
elizebeth little bit squaw is the greatest thing since sliced bagels.
The Working Girls party?
We’re going to need photos.
