I do admit destroying a sign when I went with my DIL and GD to a pro-life demonstration at which my arch-bishop was speaking. We had the permit. This b*tch had the sign which used graphic and sexual language. One of the supposedly Catholic persons in the crowd told me that the woman had the right to free speech. I said not in front of my granddaughter and the archbishop when she did not have a permit but we did. Later the police came around but I was sitting down with my friends and family under an umbrella and no one pointed me out. It was plus 100 degrees that day. Arrgggg. That having been said, I guess I have reservations about graphic photos of aborted babies being shown regularly in front of a high school. I agree with their cause but question their message.
Where Was School Security? Where were any School Adults? Where were the School Jocks?
Any or all of them could have told the man to leave and given him proper motivation to leave.
Pro-Life Group Has Signs Damaged...
How much did they pay to have them damaged? Or did they find volunteers?
Maybe “Signs used by pro-life group damaged...” might be a better headline. But I suppose it was important to lead the sentence with “Pro-Life”.
They could prevent much of the violence with some odd psychology. A telephone camera is subtle, and should still be used to record them, but someone else should bring a few disposable film cameras, expressly because they give bright flashes. Flashes tend to grab the attention.
Another trick is a compressed air horn. It really startles and in-your-face screamer. And then of course there is a canister of pepper spray, depending on local and state laws.
And several people should have concealed carry.
