Think about it, who would blame Christians at a peaceful American prayer breakfast for the Inquisition done in Spain? Who would denigrate Americans for the European Crusades into the Holy Lands? Who would want to take down American Christians down a notch and why at such a peaceful event?
President Obama's aside, that he tried to cover up, "my Muslim faith" when George Stephanopoulos corrected him "Christian Faith" was more than telling. Was this a foretelling of things to come? Certainly.
Who but a Muslim would not join world leaders (or send diplomats already in France) to protest the Terrorist slaughter there and yet go personally to Saudia Arabia instead?
Why did he bow to the King of Saudi Arabia when he was first elected (violating Presidential protocol)?
Could he be secretly feeding information to his allies in the Muslim world?
Does he secretly hope to implement Sharia Law here in America? Does he condone Honor Killings and female genital mutilation? Is he withholding troops from saving Iraq from ISIL (a former ally)?
Inquiring minds want to know, but somehow in this the mainstream press does not.

ISIS militants selling, crucifying, burying children alive in Iraq, says UN watchdog

GENEVA (REUTERS) - Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants are selling abducted Iraqi children at markets as sex slaves, and killing other youths, including by crucifixion or burying them alive, a United Nations watchdog said on Wednesday. Iraqi boys aged under 18 are increasingly being used by the militant group as suicide bombers, bomb makers, informants or human shields to protect facilities against US-led air strikes, the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child said.
“We are really deeply concerned at torture and murder of those children, especially those belonging to minorities, but not only from minorities,” committee expert Renate Winter told a news briefing. “The scope of the problem is huge.” Children from the Yazidi sect or Christian communities, but also Shi’ites and Sunnis, have been victims, she said.
“We have had reports of children, especially children who are mentally challenged, who have been used as suicide bombers, most probably without them even understanding,” Winter told Reuters. “There was a video placed (online) that showed children at a very young age, approximately eight years of age and younger, to be trained already to become child soldiers.”
Islamic State is a breakaway Al-Qaeda group that declared an Islamic caliphate across parts of Syria and Iraq last summer. It has killed thousands and forced hundreds of thousands from their homes, in what the United Nations has called a reign of terror. On Tuesday, the group, which is also known as ISIL, released a video showing a captured Jordanian pilot being burned alive.
The UN body, which reviewed Iraq’s record for the first time since 1998, denounced “the systematic killing of children belonging to religious and ethnic minorities by the so-called ISIL, including several cases of mass executions of boys, as well as reports of beheadings, crucifixions of children and burying children alive”.
A large number of children have been killed or badly wounded during air strikes or shelling by Iraqi security forces, while others had died of “dehydration, starvation and heat”, it said. ISIL has committed “systematic sexual violence”, including “the abduction and sexual enslavement of children”, it said.
“Children of minorities have been captured in many places... sold in the market place with tags, price tags on them, they have been sold as slaves,” Winter said, giving no details. The 18 independent experts who worked on the report called on Iraqi authorities to take all necessary measures to “rescue children” under the control of Islamic State and to prosecute perpetrators of crimes. “
There is a duty of a state to protect all its children. The point is just how are they going to do that in such a situation?”, Winter said. –

Most people know of the Crusades and have an idea that they are an example of Christian aggression but know nothing of the ACTUAL reason the Crusades came about.

Tell that to John Fisher, Thomas More, Edmund Campion, etc. The hunting down of priests in England and Ireland was what caused ‘priestholes’ to be built into the walls of castles and mansions. Catholics in Ireland were not exactly treated nicely by the ruling classes of England and neither were the Catholic priests, monasteries, etc. during the “May Laws” under Otto von Bismarck.
This thread is about the current Islamic crazies who are hell-bent on conquering the world for their faux-god, Allah. It does no one any good to throw out such incendiary charges when there were plenty of guilty parties, and many more who were not guilty - on both sides.

First, “Nazi Hunters”. While I did not watch the entire 6 part series in its entirety, I was careful to search through it in small segments. I saw nothing to back your claim that the Vatican aided post-war nazis escape from Germany. Plus, the fact that it was French made would tend to undermine rather than enhance its credibility overall. (Although some of the footage was admittedly interesting.)
Even if this were true of a few individual priests - a similar degree of un-control which we see even today - that would hardly qualify as a blanket indictment specifically of the Vatican, either then or now (although Francis seems a lot more goosey-loosey than Pius ever did, IMHO).
Second, The Guardian article. While there are references to the Vatican throughout, they are nonetheless vague and in fact appear merely figuratively, with no specific evidence to the effect you mentioned presented.
That the Guardian has had numerous accusations of antisemitism leveled against it over the years, with many of those coming from its own staffers, would not exactly seem to make it the most credible source with stories and articles relating to Jews...or Catholics for that matter.
I also looked at Wikipedia, and a number of references related to nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal, again with nothing to substantiate your claims.
Pope Pius wasn’t perfect, as none of us are. However, it seems his office did more to aid Jews during WWII than nearly any other institution through to the end of the conflict, personally hiding up to nearly 500 Italian Jews in the Vatican itself during the conflict with another 4000+ scattered around in various monasteries and convents. Also from the information I perused, Pius tried to dissuade Mussolini from any alignment with Hitler.
Thus, the bear bones of my case are laid out, as I believe yours should have been from the beginning. Whether you agree with it or not is up to you. But at least I’ve tried to detail it somewhat rather than sending you off to a bunch of websites, and admonishing you with the notion that, “I’m not going to do your homework for you”, after making such an unsupportable claim.
