Original Title:NASCAR LEGEND AT NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST TELLS OBAMA IF YOU DONT KNOW JESUS, YOURE GOING TO HELL.
SITTING JUST FEET AWAY FROM THE PRESIDENT, FORMER NASCAR DRIVER AND HALL-OF-FAMER, DARRELL WALTRIP, GAVE HIS CHRISTIAN TESTIMONY TO AN AUDIENCE THAT INCLUDED THE DALAI LAMA
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (KJV)
Waltrip said If you dont know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you are going to hell. Waltrip spoke about how Jesus transformed his life. He told the audience that before he was saved, it was all about him. I did everything to satisfy me, he said.
Then he was in a severe crash during a race and everything changed.
I realized that wreck knocked me conscience, Waltrip said. It scared the hell out of me. I mean that literally. I realized, what if I had lost my life that day at Daytona? Would I have go to heaven or would I have gone to hell? I thought I was a good guy, but folks, let me tell you something: good guys go to hell.

Thought I had put this to rest...apparently not. Here's your answer:
First, this a forum to debate ideas;
Secondly, every day stuff affects us all. This one was important to me since I'm tired of religious organizations telling me my morals are wrong if I don't follow their doctrines. I apologized for my heated rhetoric, but that was not good enough for you;
Thirdly, your Santa analogy was just ludicrous;
Fourth, you have no idea who I am nor my history. Don't pretend to play therapist. You may have stayed at a Hilton hotel, but that doesn't mean your are qualified...haha.
Enjoy the last word...
I drive by there daily and eat at the Cracker Barrel behind there
Hard to believe all the development finishing that rural end of Carruthers
I’m out tween Lewisburg and Columbia pikes
2 miles south of Winstead Hill
Keep up that rage pal and you’ll have the answer to that question sooner than you thinnk.
I feel his rage as well. And I hope he does find peace.
The Kenyan manchild was riding his Muzzie “high horse” yesterday. To hell with him.
Waltrip Honda is just South of Nashville on I-65 in Franklin, TN. Glad to hear he is a good Christian. I certainly will pass this on as I like to deal with other Christians.
>> In name of Yoshua...
Origins of the spelling/pronunciation?
But a qwik goggle gets this:
This question is frequently seen as an attack but it’s not. It’s not coming from one man to another. It’s coming from God to us all. None of us are perfect but salvation is based on faith and not good works.
God Bless.
Have you ever been wounded so bad in war that you faced death? I only ask as the vets I know who have turned to the Lord. I did when I went into shock. I am glad I did.
Are you so sure that in the entire unfathomable universe that there is no God?
As you are now, so once was I, blessings my friend.
I’ll try you. What makes you think those values are good or that they will do you any good?
That isn’t how it works. There is sin. All sin must be accounted for. We were given a free ticket to cover our sins. You have to accept that free ticket. That does not mean you are free to sin all you want then just ask for forgivness! Jesus said “ go and sin no more.” After forgivness we must do our best to not sin, to live our life according to His commands. Of course that is impossible. That’s why we have to accept His gift of redemption. He suffered so we would not have to. That’s what His sacrifice was all about. I hope I’ve explained this without offending.
“I don’t believe much of the Bible that was written by men of a superstitous ill-informed era”
Interesting discussion here and let me apologize for some over zelous comments by some defending their faith.
I see you as someone who questions inconsistancies, but values the truth. One of the things I’ve learned through Bible study is that’s the type person God often choses to reveal himself too. Bet most here have no idea who Jesus spoke John 3:16 to. The most known/quoted verse took on an even more special meaning to me when I realized who he was talking to. It wasn’t a follower, at least not when he spoke it, it was someone who realized all the pieces of information didn’t fit the mold he thought they should. With that said I would encourage you to do a little research on those who wrote the Bible. Most who wrote it, especially the New Testament did not profit from it and sufferend horiible deaths. The one who wrote the majority of the New Testament was an educated man of wealth, power and standing. He gave it up to follow and preach the gospel and it ended in his execution. He was either the worst/dumbest charlatan ever or something actually happened on the road to Damascus. I chose to believe the latter, but it’s a choice everyone has to make for themselves.
Thank you for your service to our country.
Don’t blame me for trying to manipulate something I didn’t do. The picture was included in the article.
I’m in Brentwood, just south of Davidson County. We should grab lunch some time.
Hell ... you should see some of the stuff I intentionally do only to face palm myself after hitting post
No problem.
