Wednesday at the Detroit Economic Club, former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) said to create high, sustained economic growth, we need to dramatically expand immigrants that are coming to work.
Bush said, It seems to me we ought to be strategic about this about how do we create high, sustained economic growth And that is to shift away from family reunification being almost the sole driver of illegal immigration to narrowing that do what every other country has, spouse and minor children. And dramatically expanding immigrants that are coming to work. A guest worker program to deal in the areas where there are shortages.

The Chamber of Commerce has spoken.
A certain Senator popular here said the same thing
FUJB!!
Hey Jeb!
We have 93 MILLION AMERICANS out of the workforce!
We dont NEED to impose SLAVE WAGES on LEGAL IMMIGRANTS by flooding the labor market with ILLEGAL CHEAP LABOR!!
Gallop just proved that only 44% of those employed are working more than 30 hours per week.
Deport Jeb.
There are 40 million immigrants in the country right now.
No offense if you are one of them, if you are on FR you are probably one of the good ones.
But just understand that our betters are replacing us. We are being replaced.
Save your money, Jeb. Don’t even enter the 2016 primaries.
I’m sure this stand will differentiate him from Hillary in many ways, and garner him the vote of all Mexicans.
Yeah, right!
What does "dramatically expand immigrants" mean? Is he saying that we need to put them on high-calorie diets to make them fatter?
To put any credence to what Jebb spouts one has to understand the Bushs for years have had the ideas that the lowly citizens would believe any crap from the mouths of the anointed.
Keep it up Bushie...the more you speak this absolute insanity, the more votes you lose, if you ever had them to begin with.
A certain governor of Wisconsin shares those sentiments too!
If we are expanding immigrants coming to WORK, then we are deporting 90% of the ones who are here now.
I just don’t get the strategerie. Why anger the entire conservative base with these unprompted statements. Guy has a tin ear.
We have to secure the borders first. Few think we can actually send 12 million illegals back. And AFTER the borders are secure, we can intelligently discuss their fate and maybe end up with a path to non-voting citizenship. (Just my opinion - non-voting status makes them less a pawn for democratic party votes.)
Conceptually, should they get to vote if they entered illegally, particularly if they are allowed to stay and enjoy all (but one) of our other rights and freedoms?
If only there were a country full of Mexicans or Central Americans, so we could see how something like that would function, if only ......
This guy is completely off his rocker.
“A certain governor of Wisconsin shares those sentiments too!”
Oh go troll some place else. Your so obvious.
Translation: my money backers need cheap illegal labor they can pay them under the table. And I also want continue Øbama’s fundamental transformation of America. And we need to let the Hispanic community know we’re more compassionate the the democrat party so they’ll vote for us, the democrat lite party. Great taste but less fulfilling.
Jeb Bush is either stupid or evil or BOTH.!..
