Writing for the Baltimore Sun, media journalist David Zurawik called for Brian Williams to resign or to be fired by Friday. “If credibility means anything to NBC News, Brian Williams will no longer be managing editor and anchor of the evening newscast by the end of the day Friday,” Zurawik writes.
Wednesday evening, after being caught lying, the Nightly News anchor admitted that for the last 12 years he has repeatedly lied about being shot down in a helicopter over Iraq.

He can offer to resign just as soon as Candy Crawley does the same. The problem wasn’t his repeated lying. The problem was his admitting it.
There will be NO disciplinary action and Brian will keep his ‘job’...just AS IF he actually has any personal integrity and enough sense of shame to know how irrelevant he has made himself.

Could you imagine Walter Cronkite outright lying like that? He was before my time when he was on the news, but I understand that he was a straight up news guy. (but a real nutcase in his latter years)
Back during that age, Williams would have been fired immediately, and been shamed out of the media forever. There’s no excuse for that.
Notice that Democrat politicians often do the same sort of things. They will outright lie to make themselves more interesting to enhance their personal experiences. It’s as if they can’t help themselves. I believe it goes back to the inherent inferiority complex they seem to have which is associated with being a liberal. They feel the need to elevate themselves, because they lack any real fortitude.

Honestly, I’m not that outraged - because I do not trust the alphabet media, nor do I watch it. I expect them to be biased. So what’s the surprise?
I already know they are unfair, slanted and political. They may not lie outright, but often facts are left out, and the narrative is greatly manipulated.
