OK, so to name a few: Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Larry Ellison, Larry Page, Gorden Moore & Robert Noyce, John Clarence Carcher, David Hitz, Scott Cook and Tom Proulx, Ed E. Iacobucci, Leonard Bosack, Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, Bill Hewlett & Dave Packard, Jeff Weiner are foreign expats? Oh and I would be happy to provide many more names....

I won’t dispute that foreigners have made contributions, but your post seems to imply that foreigners are totally responsible for our tech industry growth, and you have provided no facts that support your contention.

I appreciate the name dropping but for every Scott Scott McNealy there is a Vinod Khosla and for every Bill Joy there is an Andreas “Andy” Von Bechtolsheim

FWIW, part of the experience to support my position is because my world view was shaped in in no small part by the input from some of those American guys whose names you listed
