President Obama has no guts.

Yet again Mr. President, you lie. You boasted that your exchange of an obvious traitor for a group of known terrorists hell bent on America’s destruction is because “we leave no man behind.” You lie. You left an entire nation behind in the Rose Garden while celebrating a military deserter whose treasonous act you smiled at for all the world to see. You hold the proverbial hand of a traitor, but don’t have the character to do the same for deserving souls who consistently give their all to protect America. Have you spoken up for the likes of American sniper Chris Kyle or so many other fallen heroes? No. You have no guts for that.

Astute, commonsense patriots, you were right all along. I said months ago (June 2, 2014 post below), “You blew it again, Barack Obama.” Read Bristol’s post for truth about Bowe Bergdahl. (Bristol Palin article below)

Bergdahl’s father spoke his scripted Arabic greeting while Barack Obama nodded approvingly, I’ve never been more ashamed of a President’s action than this arrogant, destructive exchange of another stone in our foundation of freedom – for evil men who hate our freedom. Our once solid rock upon which we were built turns to sand with astounding anti-American acts praised by Leftists. We will – we MUST – survive this President, but God help us survive the people who still support this.”

– Sarah Palin

Isn’t anymore aiding and abetting the enemies of U.S. high treason?

Let me make sure that people know this:

You find burning mentioned in the Koran: “Taste ye [Jews] the punishment of burning.”[Surah III, v. 18 1]

Muhammad’s hadith are part of Islamic dogma. They are sayings attributed to Muhammad that justify actions. There are hadiths that talk about burning people-usually Jews and Christians (at least the one I saw last night).

“Volume 5, Book 59, Number 541: Narrated Abu Huraira: When we conquered Khaibar, we gained neither gold nor silver as booty, but we gained cows, camels, goods and gardens. Then we departed with Allah’s Apostle to the valley of Al-Qira, and at that time Allah’s Apostle had a slave called Mid’am who had been presented to him by one of Banu Ad-Dibbab. While the slave was dismounting the saddle of Allah’s Apostle an arrow the thrower of which was unknown, came and hit him. The people said, “Congratulations to him for the martyrdom.” Allah’s Apostle said, “No, by Him in Whose Hand my soul is, the sheet (of cloth) which he had taken (illegally) on the day of Khaibar from the booty before the distribution of the booty, has become a flame of Fire burning him.” On hearing that, a man brought one or two leather straps of shoes to the Prophet and said, “These are things I took (illegally).” On that Allah’s Apostle said, “This I”Did prophet Muhamamd say that god will BURN Jews and Christians for Msulims’ sins?

There is a prophetic statement in Sahih Muslim that says that prophet Muhammed said that god will BURN Jews and Christians for Msulims’ sins. It says exactly that when god will judge a Muslim he will through a Jew or a Christian in hell and tell the Muslim that they will pay for his sins.

Is it fair from god to punish Jews and Christians for sins they did not do?s a strap, or these are two straps of Fire.”

Question:

Assalamu alaykum,

It seems the shaykhs are pretty adamant that all ahadith in Bukhari are sahih. How can it be that Ali (ra) burned people as a death penalty? I have heard excuses like “Ali was not infallible.” That doesn’t cut it for me. How could a person as knowledgeable and righteous as Ali burn people? This is not an everyday mistake that we can excuse by saying something as simple as “it was a mistake on his part and we don’t apply the burning of people as a punishment.” I also don’t see how it makes sense to say that Ali (ra) made ijtihad and came to the conclusion to BURN people. This is the ijtihad of one of the most knowledgeable companions? How can it be? Why isn’t this issue dealt with more by Muslim scholars? It seems much too important to ignore.

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,

This is not in Sahih al-Bukhari and he did relatedly burn apostates but after execution.”

“By Allah(swt) the Ummah of Muhammad bin Abdullah(SAW) will never stop waging Jihad against the kuffar, hypocrites, and apostates.

Burn in your humiliation and agony and if you think we will not be victorious then all I have to say to you:

“Whoever should think that Allah will not support [Prophet Muhammad] in this world and the Hereafter - let him extend a rope to the ceiling, then cut off [his breath], and let him see: will his effort remove that which enrages [him]?” -Surah Al-Hajj”

Bukhari :: Book 4 :: Volume 52 :: Hadith 260

Narrated Ikrima:

Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn ‘Abbas, who said, “Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, ‘Don’t punish (anybody) with Allah’s Punishment.’ No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, ‘If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.’ “

Did `Alî execute some people by burning them to death?

Q: Did `Alî execute some people by burning them to death? I find this confusing, because didn’t the Prophet (peace be upon him) decree that burning people to death is a form of polytheism?
A: `Ikrimah relates that some heretical rebels were brought before `Alî and he had them set afire. When news of this reached Ibn `Abbâs, he said: “If it had been up to me, I would not have burned them, because of Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) prohibited this, saying: ‘Do not punish with Allah’s punishment.’ I would have merely executed them…” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (6922)] Alî was the Caliph, the Commander of the Faithful. He was being confronted by the challenge of the Saba’iyyah, a recalcitrant group led by a Jewish man named `Abd Allah b. Saba’ who was inciting people with the false doctrine that

`Alî was divine. `Alî exercised his judgment in this extremely serious matter and ordered a fire to be kindled. He said on this occasion: “When I saw that the affair was an affair of evil, I had my fire kindle and summoned my aide.”

This was a very unique and singular case as has been pointed out by the eminent jurist al-Shâtibî, and its ruling cannot be construed in a general context. Moreover, there is disagreement among scholars how this event really took place. Some give the opinion that he burned their bodies after executing them. Others state that what really happened was that he had openly resolved to burn them but never actually carried it out. In any event, the decision made by `Alî on this occasion was the conclusion that he reached in the matter according to his own juristic discretion (ijtihâd).

Execution by fire has nothing whatsoever to do with polytheism, though it is prohibited by Islamic Law. Polytheism is to worship another deity besides Allah or to believe in the divinity of someone or something other than Allah.

Admittedly, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said when expressing the prohibition of burning people: “Indeed, fire is something that no one other than Allah may use for punishment.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (3016)] However, this does not mean that a person becomes a polytheist if he executes someone in this manner. What the hadîth means is that this punishment is the punishment of the Hereafter and should not be applied in this world. This is what we must believe.

We do not know for sure that `Alî actually executed those people with fire. There is a strong possibility that he only expressed an intent to do so or that he burned their bodies after executing them. If, indeed, he did burn them to death, then this is the ijtihâd of a Companion. This is a case where we have a decision arrived at by the Companion at variance with the textual evidence. We derive our legal rulings from the sacred texts and not from the decisions of the Companions when there is a conflict between the two. However, we recognize that Companions like `Alî were qualified to engage in independent juristic reasoning and that they acted upon that reasoning, and we believe that they were on right guidance.

Sorry this is so long, but I recollected this from way back in my past. Recall, too, that Ali is the origin of the Shia split with the Sunni. IIRC, ISIS is Shi’ite.

You use the Koran, the Hadith, and the legal rulings (including FATWAs) to arrive at what is considered Islamic rules/theology.
