Our newly elected senator, Bill Cassidy, has bravely drawn a line in the sand; he wants to pass a law prohibiting Congressional members from getting free oil paintings, or something like that. That is the hill he has chosen to die on.
So, this guy thinks that THIS is why he got elected?

Just the look on Jerry’s face here is saying it all!
“Poppie’s a little sloppy”
How about consuming food prepared by or served by a flamer...You have no idea where those hands were minutes before they came on duty(no pun intended)
There was a graphic awhile back that reminded people to wash their hands, otherwise shaking hands would be like shaking each others junk.
And suggests replacing one regulation, hand washing, with another regulation, signs about hand washing. So where does that ease the burden?
"....**EEEEYARF**...hope this clowns eats at Mexican restaurants where they hire new illegals"
What is it that makes hand-washing the number one priority for him?
Ick. That's a mental image I'm going to have a hard time getting rid of.
Seriously, on the list of problems facing the Republic, this is what they pick as an issue????
Well, not really. This is a very, very long-standing tradition in America of something called “Sunshine Laws,” deriving from the Middle Ages and “caveat emptor,” in which it was assumed that if the consumer has information, the consumer will make the right decision. I agree it’s not pure “free market,” but it’s nothing new and was always designed as a consumer friendly process that respected consumers instead of, say, forcing them to buy seat belts.
As long as we’re focused on the “big problems”..........sigh
What makes Beyonce' and Jay-Z such big priorities for Huckabee? The only possible explanation is idiocy.
Good going, Tillis.
This is the typical flavor of “cray-cray” that libs will point to when trying to lure young and low-info voters.
wasn’t there and Seinfeld episode on this??
SMH.
To let the business decide what they will do about it is a rather refreshing take on the situation.
But he seems to be saying that it is the governments job to force the restaurant to disclose the information. Where is that different from the government requiring proper sanitary practices to begin with?
Potential voters should be required to take that I.Q. test and if they don't score higher than a turnip, they shouldn't get the vote. There would never again be a democrat elected to office.
Is anyone concerned that the Feds have a say so in hand washing? I can’t find it in the Constitution. Perhaps if one were to wash his hands in “interstate commerce” or something.
