A San Diego Cub Scout troop got a lesson in human anatomy on a recent outing with their troop leader — and some parents are upset.
Diane and Erik Lekven are outraged that a hike on Jan. 24 ended up at a nude beach.

As of the late 80’s, it was mostly homos. Maybe you are thinking of the homos that had “adopted”? I lived just off I-5 and Carmel Valley Rd, hiked around the bluffs aboeve the beach quite a bit. No big secret who was down there.

I thought everyone knew nudity is illegal in San Francisco. A recent suit to block the ordinance was rejected by a federal judge. Perhaps one reason why many gays have left San Francisco over the last twenty years (perhaps for San Diego). Conservatism has arrived in SF.

I was there once...but my clothing optional beach of choice was Moonstone Beach in RI (now closed) and The Ledges in Vermont, which is very popular). Both were closer to my home, now I’m in a clothing optional neighborhood.
January is the warm season on the NorCal coast. Summer is when it's cold. I was in Pacifica one time for the 4th of July, and we had to go inside to get warm.
To quote Mark Twain - "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

This is a big part of the perverts MO with grooming scouts for rape. Make them swim naked at summer scout camps so they lose any sense of modesty and privacy around their bodies and self image. They have been doing this for decades.
Dig deeper and I would bet there is more to this than just nudity. The parents need to shut down and disband that cub scout group.
Drove by a nude beach in St. Maarten last week. Old and wrinkled. Not an attraction, LOL.
You're not kidding! When I was in high school, several friends and I made the hike down the cliff -- and it WAS one heck of a hike. 4th grade kids probably would have had it easier, but still, you don't just "stumble" on Black's Beach.
It also works to avoid speed traps and pretty much replaced Trapster which went dark on new Year’s (thanks feds s/)
I heard from people who are lifelong speeders, like me, and they have avoided many tickets with it.
I need to use it more often for that purpose alone. Particularly because the new fleet of vehicles in Law Enforcement are so much more difficult to see, more importantly, recognize.
The CHP has been so arrogant about it too, publishing articles or allowing quotes such as “They’re just not watching for us” and the accompanying smiling photo.
