I am in Oklahoma right now; I have lived in Texas twice for several years (Panhandle and north of Dallas near Whitesboro), and have worked in Texas on and off for many years when I wasn’t living there, so I am not a stranger to Texas. I consider Oklahoma and Texas to be nearly the same, sort of like brothers... except that you all don’t have income tax, but you do have Austin... If things go belly-up bad enough that I consider leaving OK, I don’t know if TX would be much better, unless you all finally re-formed your own country again... And in that case, please consider adding your northern neighbor as a state (or large county)!
