I'd like to believe that, I really would, especially since the King's wife is an American, but it's really too simplistic an outlook given the tensions of the region. Becoming a staunch ally of the Great Satan (USA) will be seen as becoming a staunch ally of the even greater Satan which is Israel. I think, on balance, you'll find that the King, being a rather pragmatic sort will see that he needs the good will of the other Arabs before he will want to openly embrace the USA/Israel partnership. There may very well be some sort of under the radar, covert or even clandestine alliance with us, but I very much doubt that anything will come overtly and just out there.
