here is my opinion for what it is worth..
nobody can force you to vaccinate either yourself or your children..
but, that does not give you the right to possibly expose my children to a disease that your children may or may not have...
if you do not vaccinate your children, you have no right to..
1) public education
2) public health care
3) taking yourself or your children into a public place, like an airport or train or bus station..
in other words, you can do whatever you please..
but you do not have the right to place me in jeopardy of losing life or limb because of your choices..
Her two-month and four-month shots resulted in her screaming uncontrollably for hours, grabbing at her head like it was hurting her badly. This was very uncharacteristic behavior. Nope.
My mother was born in a typical early twentieth century farm family of seventeen. Only twelve grew to adulthood because of polio, pertussis, diphtheria, and typhoid. Of the twelve adults, all have lived into their nineties, except my mother, who died in her sixties of cancer. There was no history of cancer in either branch of my mothers family.
Anyone can have a bad reaction to a vaccine, and there are no guarantees in life in general, nor in medicine in particular. The risks of not vaccinating your daughter are far greater than the risks of vaccination. Especially with an unprotected border admitting 3000 illegals every day who come from countries where the immunization regime is poor or nonexistent.
God bless your family. The science on this is real, whatever your personal experience. I'm sure you don't want to hear that your story is not scientific proof. But ... it isn't.

If your children have, then what are you worried about being exposed? I thought the vaccine worked???
For the record more people have died from this vaccine than from the measles.
The CDCs own numbers says your chances of dying from not being vaccinated by the measles is 0.003

Hyberbole and inaccurate. The government is not making it mandatory unless your child wants to attend a public school in a state with such a law. The parents still must consent and may refuse.
