>>Paul is dead to me. Vaccination quackery is a bellwether for kookiness.<<

So, to be clear, you think the government should be able to vaccinate everyone for anything the government wants, anytime? Because that’s the alternative to personal responsibility.

And you don’t get to pick the particular vaccination either. Once the majority rules, you and your kids are going to get it, regardless.

Seems like a monumental abdication of personal responsibility to me. Good luck finding a GOP candidate who comes down on the side of mandatory vaccinations. It’s easy to blame a measles outbreak on “dumb parenting,” but governments, once given the power to decide for us, won’t limit those decisions only to the most rational ones.

So Paul addressed the issue rationally, but he’s a quack for doing so? Interesting.

Actually, Christie (of all people) articulated your points much better. Paul on the other hand regurgitated debunked claims of vaccines causing mental illness, which shows he has a problem judging fact from fiction.

I don't think anyone is talking about forced, or "mandatory" vaccinations in the way you're positioning it; what we're talking about is requiring them for public school.
