while I certainly respect younpassion, I don’t think you can allow yourself to govern an entire state by asking yourself, “what if it was my mom?”. that just breaks down fairly early on.
but I totally agree with you about her evil husband.

Yeah, I mean what happened to her made me angry to a point that I may have been and still am irrational over it.
That is the question that I keep coming back too.
If that had been my mom, I may not have been able to govern the state. I would have had to go and save my mom.
The thing is, if that is how a civilization and its civilized people treat someone who cannot fend for themselves and is dependent on our mercy for life, then I really don’t want anything to do with that civilization.
That was a truly hideous thing that was done to her.
