Super Bowl....can't find a thread...so starting this
Great. What is that saying about arguing with idiots...I am just stopping right now.
Game, set, match...
it's already become a meme
Interesting that I’m the idiot yet you are the one leveling insults and ad hominums. What’s that saying about taking flack when one is over the target?
Go sober up.
OMG, that is so dark, and so funny.
You know what? I apologize. I shouldn’t have called you names and been crude to you. I mean it.
Seeing a post like the one I originally read just brought out the worst in me and it compounded with me when you doubled down on it.
I apologize. That was a completely stupid exchange on my part, and not how I want to go to sleep with.
You are entitled to your opinions, even if I think they are completely unfounded.
I see, so in your world Christians marry their kid's wife?
You are either very confused or very mistaken about what a Christian is.
BTW Christians don't usually run around calling people racists Like Sherman does. Again it's that "Bearing False Witness" thing.
It sounds like Brady is a pretty decent guy. This weekend he was visiting with kids that had lost a parent in the military.
Whether he is Christian - I don’t know. I did see an article about him and the writer commented about the Menorrah in Brady’s home. “Oh - are you Jewish?”
Brady answered to the effect of “No - I have all sorts of religious things. I know I believe in something. Not exactly sure what - but it is something.”
Wilson is pretty clear on what he believes.
Thanks, but I was the duty driver for a bunch of people tonight to a Super Bowl party, so I don’t have to sober up.
Big time. I've been trying to find a way out of this sidetracked conversation, and I think you just gave me my out.
Thanks!
Brady went to Israel with Kraft and hung out with IDF soldiers.
His aggressive actions and rants on the field and off are not what I consider acts of a Christian.
Claiming to be a Christian is one thing. Living your life as one is a whole different matter.
I think it's my brain getting us all discombobulated here.
I wouldn't have guessed in a million years that I'd wind up discussing Madonna after such an incredible Super Bowl. She rates somewhere below old toenail clippings, on the list of things I care about.
Thanks for trying to help me jog the old synapses :-)
Kudus for not drinking. My wife and i don’t drink either.
The issue I had with the other poster was the complete and total dismissal of Tom Brady’s work with people without knowing anything about it.
I live in this area, so I hear about his charitable works it and see it, even when it isn’t advertised. He doesn’t wear it on his sleeve like some people do.
If Brady isn’t a Christian, that is between him and God, not me and him. I do take issue with people criticizing him about his charitable works that they have not a single inkling of.
I do drink and enjoy it on rare occasions, but not tonight. Better that way. I could make sure all my friends get home safe.
Luckily Wilson will have plenty of chances to redeem himself, and he played an excellent game, otherwise.
...
He had a QB rating of 110.6. Higher than Brady.
Tom Brady's father: 'It will end badly' in New England
All kinds of stuff about Brady's personal life in there, including his core beliefs and what drives him. Draw your own conclusions...
I take solace from the fact that the Patriots were - famously - at full health prior to the game. It took injuries to two key Seahawks players to keep this thing close. With Lane and Avril in there, it’s a 34-14 final score. Ah, well. “Winnahs”... Enjoy...
