To: sten
you realize TCruz is the candidate the left wants the right to get behind, right? they want us to put all our eggs in that specific basket... and just after the convention, they will file a motion to remove him from the ballot due to eligibility issues. at which point, he will be removed as obviously not eligible... and the right will have the wind sucked right out of their sails going into the election
You do realize that Ronald Reagan was the candidate the Left wanted the GOP to get behind right?
So what?

Wow, two Amnesty lovers on the same ticket.
Great!
And before you state that she isn't for Amnesty, A.K.A. Comprehensive Immigration Reform, read this:
WASHINGTON -- New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez (R), whose named has been floated as a possible Republican vice presidential pick, slammed Mitt Romney on Monday for his immigration strategy.
Martinez took aim at Romney's support for a policy of "self-deportation," whereby conditions in the U.S. would be made so uncomfortable for undocumented immigrants that they would voluntarily leave the country.
"Self-deport? What the heck does that mean?" Martinez said in a Monday interview with Newsweek. "I have no doubt Hispanics have been alienated during this campaign. But now there's an opportunity for Gov. Romney to have a sincere conversation about what we can do and why."
Martinez also called on Republicans to step up their support for comprehensive immigration reform, in part to highlight that President Barack Obama hasn't been able to advance the issue, despite making a 2008 campaign promise to do so.
"I absolutely advocate for comprehensive immigration reform," Martinez said. "Republicans want to be tough and say, 'Illegals, youre gone.' But the answer is a lot more complex than that."
The New Mexico governor specifically called for an immigration reform plan that includes increased border security, deportation for criminals, a guest-worker program for people to go freely back and forth across the border for work, and a DREAM Act-type pathway to citizenship through the military or college.
Most notably, however, Martinez endorsed the idea of providing visas to millions of undocumented immigrants living in the country, as long as they pay a penalty and agree to follow standard nationalization procedures.

I'm not sure that he's eligible...
Of course he is constitutionally eligible.
The Constitution and it's amendments, US Laws, and SCOTUS rulings DO NOT require a citizen to have 2 US Citizen parents at the time of birth. In fact, current law only requires 1.
Please provide the relevant sections of the U.S. Constitution that clearly and unambiguously define "Natural Born" as requiring two U.S. Citizens at birth.
Lacking that, Please provide the relevant sections of U.S. Federal Law that clearly and unambiguously define "Natural Born" as requiring two U.S. Citizens at birth.
Lacking that, Please provide the relevant rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court that clearly and unambiguously define "Natural Born" as requiring two U.S. Citizens at birth.
You won't because you can't because they don't exist anywhere except in your mind and in sources that are not legal or constitutional in nature.

Gutfeld is not a liberal. He hates liberals. I would describe Greg G as a libertarian.

xzins did not tell you he was a liberal, just that he did not like his liberal views.
Many Libertarians carry liberal views.
If xzins tells you something like that, you'd better believe him. He's not going to steer you wrong.

You do realize that if the “not eligible” argument were valid at all, Mr. Obama would have been DQ’d.
The “Birther” argument just doesn’t ring true anymore, it unfortunately didn’t stop Obama, and it won’t stop Cruz from the left-wing!

If the poll has Oriley’s name attached to it, it instantly has no credibility.

the left doesn’t have the same problem with eligibility as the right. the right doesn’t control the press. ask McCain ... they hounded the eligibility question at him and he had to defend. 0bama just avoided and no press went after him.
not to mention, the right doesn’t have the bawls to make such accusations. hell, we couldn’t even mention 0bama’s middle name, thereby pointing out his obvious muslim connection, during the election. they didn’t use his name until sworn in... and it stunned people. (9-11... never forget... for 7 years)
also, anyone using the term ‘birther’ is displaying their ignorance of the subject or working to help deflect with ridicule. neither of which changes the facts.

TCruz would be dropped from the ballot as fast as Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Neither were born on the soil and both had at least one foreign national as a parent

Obama and his enablers sure figured out how to beat the requirements. Some people believe a precedent has been set.
To: noinfringers2
the right doesn’t share any benefits of the left’s precedents
if it did, the right wouldn’t be hounded non-stop for moral issues (ie: smoking weed or getting drunk as a kid).
