John Kerry has many titlessecretary of state, former senator, one-time Democratic candidate for president.
The globe-spanning diplomat can add one more: snow shoveling scofflaw. [ ]
On Thursday, (Boston) officials tagged Kerry with a $50 fine at 9:45 a.m. for failing to clear the snow from the side of his Beacon Hill mansion.
Kerry was in Saudi Arabia attending the funeral of King Abdullah with President Obama.

That’s just....RICH! LOL!
Doesn’t he have people to do that?
Illegal aliens most likely.
Theresa was hitting the raisins again and forget to call the shovel guy.
Heh
Lol!
BTW - couldn't Teresa have made the call for some minimum wage help?
I loathe Kerry, but private property just does not mean to Da Gummint what it means to me.
People calling the cops when they see kids walking alone, shutting down lemonade stands, FINING you for not shoveling snow.
This is all bad, even when the victim is that supercilious phoney John Kerry.
He forgot to leave instructions for Julio to take care of that.
There could be another explanation. John Kerry is so well liked in his Louisburg Square neighborhood that his neighbors probably donated their snow to him to show just how much they care for somebody who moves a fire hydrant to ensure he has a parking space in front of his home. If I lived there, snow would be the least of the stuff that I would dump on his doorstep.
Illegal aliens most likely.

Or maybe some of Holder’s people, but that would be work.
Kerry said “it was a lot of snow, and would have been the biggest snow job I’d ever taken on. Uh, except for that testimony to Congress back in ‘71, of course.”
The article says “side of the house” at the start, which is confusing, but as I guessed it uses the word “sidewalk” toward the end.
It’s only reasonable to require homeowners and shop keepers to shovel the sidewalk in front of or alongside their house or store. Makes more sense than taxing everybody to pay public union workers to do the job.
And Kerry can certainly afford to pay someone to do it on a regular basis.
Well his wife can anyway. I doubt he can afford his own hair cuts.
The ordinance in my town is sidewalks need to be cleared within 24 hours of a snowfall. I have never seen it enforced.
I think the reason it says “side of his house’ is because the front of his townhouse is on private property, Louisburg Square. It’s private for all the townhouses there. They even have their own little snow plow. But the side of the house is a public street. So he probably had the front of his house shoveled, the front where the hydrant used to be located before he had it moved, but didn’t shovel the side.
It’s what is called “poetic justice” in that case; the proponents of big government falling prey to it.
You would think with all the 'illegal immigrants' from South America that he spread throughout the 50 US states, he could have found some unemployed alien to do it real cheap.
