She’s too fat, wrinkled and ugly to pull off another “Pretty in Pink” interview. She’ll resort to “I can’t recall” or “I don’t believe you can prove that....”, just plain lie and dare anyone to prove otherwise. She wouldn’t be appearing if there were any paper out there on her.
It’s what she does.

Keep in mind that Hillary is not doing this to help get the truth out, or to assist the investigation in any manner. With the Clintons, everything is a political calculation, and in her mind she has nothing to lose, because there are only two possible outcomes. The first is the 'Pubs on the committee grow a pair and play hardball, and ask the tough questions and demand answers, even putting her under oath. If they play rough, she'll play the "victim" card. Remember what she did to Lazio when he tried to get her to sign a pledge? She'll turn the tables on the 'Pubs and whine about their "mean-spiritedness". And of course the media will embellish that gambit.
The other outcome is that the 'Pubs play their usual meek, mild, deferential role, they don't ask any tough questions, don't press home any issues, and she comes off looking like she is helpful, cooperative, and innocent. Then she gets to frame the issue on her terms, which is always the key in politics. The 'Rats will say, see, Hillary has nothing to hide, the mean 'Pubs got nothing on her, let's "move on". Sound familiar? It should. We had eight long, weary, dreary years of it in the '90s.

Didn’t Gowdy say that witnesses would have no choice in the matter? So she is announcing this to make it appear like it is her choice.
What BS.
