My mom was born in 1904 and died in 2007. She reminded us of granny. She was an amazing Christian lady. Something else. We never ever heard her say anything bad about another person. Her dad died in 1926. He did not like for ladies to wear slacks so my mom never did. Her sisters did but she did not. She really honored her mom and dad all her life. Maybe that is one reason she lived so long. Everyone misses her and my dad. : (

I have always been one of those men that didn’t allow cussing in front of women, today in this America, I can only try to discourage it, or if in my home, tell them to leave if it can’t be controlled.

A rare and beautiful quality. The older I get, the more I value that in a person the rare times you really see it -- it's a good sign in a person. What a great lady your mom must have been. Sorry for your loss -- she had a nice, long run! 103, wow! Wonderful!
