Mike Huckabee Complains of Trashy Women at Fox News By ADAM B. LERNER 1/27/15 Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said in a recent radio appearance that while in New York for his Fox News show, he experienced significant culture shock from all the trashy women swearing in a professional setting. In the South, or in the Midwest, there in Iowa, you would not have people who would just throw the F-bomb or use gratuitous profanity in a professional setting, Huckabee told host Jan Mickelson in a Friday appearance on Des Moines Mickelson in the Morning.

Your idea of a real preacher is different than mine.
Headline makes you think he means just plain “trashy”. Like they’re turning tricks and pole dancing.
Thank you, ladies. *hanging head* I have been guilty of it too much myself, have a bro. who gently gets on my case and he's right, as you are. I must take more care to mind my manners and not mix cool and pathetic ... all to easy and true. Thank you for the humbling reminder, ladies.
God bless.

Keeper of odd knowledge aka kook.
Never said it was Fox people. First assune, then attack based on the assunption. I’ve observed that tactic before.
I know a guy who to look at -- well, looks like he'd probably swear a lot, very rugged and radical looking, almost scary, tattoos galore, the whole shebang, and works outdoors in a ranch setting where fingers get smashed, clothes get snagged, machines break down, etc.
Yet he actually has an aversion to bad language, though he uses it himself on occasion; he tries to be on his guard and is very respectful when ladies are present.
He was telling me about how he tried to break himself of it. Every time he'd smash his thumb or smack his shin or drop some bolt down into a hard-to-reach place, he'd "swear" with exactly the same venom and anger, except say, "Awwwwww ssssHUCKS!!" "Rats!!!" "Daw GONE it!!!" "DANG!!!!"
I giggled so hard hearing him tell it that tears were rolling down my cheeks.
That rough looking guy in dusty work clothes jumping around on one foot and cradling his hand in agony, exclaiming "DAaaaaaaagNABITT!!!"
Is that what he said? Did Huck say it was the worst offense possible? Did he even imply it?
“Really? In today’s world the most important thing you have to do is take out the trash?”
He didn’t actually say that ANYBODY swears at Fox - that is an assumption you made that is not in the story.
Much as I love her, she’s big-time wrong on this one.
I didn’t read that he was referring to anybody at Fox. Did you read that,or did you assume that?
A rare and beautiful quality. The older I get, the more I value that in a person the rare times you really see it -- it's a good sign in a person. What a great lady your mom must have been. Sorry for your loss -- she had a nice, long run! 103, wow! Wonderful!
Actually, it does mean exactly that - to invoke the Lord’s name in a vain, disrespectful, unfruitful way...it can refer to both using the words, and using the authority.
He didn’t actually restrict his complaint to women.
I say doggone it, fiddlesticks, shoot, shucks, etc. Gets me laughing every time.
Bless you, Finny. You sound like a gem. :)
Son thats no lady its a cocktail waitress in a Dolly Parton wig!
I know it dad aint she COOL!
Indeed. I am the daughter of a steamfitter and have been a OR/Critical care nurse since 1977. I was raised to know better, but am capable of swearing in five languages. I learned more invective from physicians than construction workers.
Listening to the low level of intelligence communicated in both groups, I have reduced my use of swear words to the exceptionally deserving situation usually directed at myself. I would also ban “like” and “you know”.
Yes, the KitchenAid blender was just sitting on the counter, collecting dust, so I put it to good use. ;)
With his previous comments on Beyonce, he just keeps shooting himself in the foot over non-issues, and expects to be taken seriously--then he goes off on unnamed women in a professional setting, which can only realistically mean Fox women--and shoots himself again.
That's twice--no more feet.
