Limbaugh: Scott Walker ‘The Blueprint’ For GOP If They Are ‘Serious About Beating The Left’ [AUDIO]
Daily Caller ^ | 01/27/2015

Two days have passed and the praise for Scott Walker’s Saturday speech in Iowa continue to pour in.

On his Monday program, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh continued his praise of the Wisconsin governor, saying Walker is “the blueprint” for the Republican Party if they are “serious about beating the left.”

Limbaugh, a longtime admirer of Walker, also lashed out at the media for pushing the narrative that the potential 2016 candidate is “dull” and “colorless,” while adding that the GOP needs to “hoist” Walker on a chair “they used to take Caesar through the crowds with.”

“If you have spent any time listening to this program in the last two years, you know that I believe Scott Walker is the blueprint for the Republican Party if they are serious about beating the left Scott Walker has shown how to do it,” Limbaugh said.

I like the guy, but he doesn’t have a college degree. The NY based media is going to tear him down for that.

Bush had higher grades than Kerry, but the media still portrayed Bush as stupid and Kerry as sophisticated.

It does not matter what degree our candidate has, they will be ridiculed.

But Walker is smart in other ways. He is angling for the working class vote, especially private sector union members who do not have a college degree.

Harry Truman did not have a college degree

Dems ran weak candidates against Walker. I don’t think they ever had a chance. In the recall, the gimmedats stayed home because they didn’t have a horse in the race. Scott Walker is an establishment candidate. He supports pathway to citizenship and appears to have softened on gay marriage. I supported him for Wisconsin Governor but in my opinion he would be a huge disappointment as commander in chief.

Hate to disagree but the blueprint for Republican victory in 2016 is Ted Cruz.

Cruz has a deep reverence for our beloved Constitution.

Cruz is by far the closet to our Founders in understanding the inherent true evil that is government.

I laugh at the fools who think that executive experience is some magical bromide to slay big government -- how naive. Government is not in any way a business. It is a sadistic out of control bureaucracy that needs slaying.

It is much more important for someone who clearly understands the United States Constitution and is willing to for example wholly repeal every last vestige of Obmacase. That person is Cruz.

Facts don’t lie!!

http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/scott-walker-asks-mexico-to-open-consulate-in-wisconsin-b99120688z1-227850711.html

“It’s all is about the 11 million [undocumented immigrants],” Walker said. “You hear some people talk about border security and a wall and all that. To me, I don’t know that you need any of that if you had a better, saner way to let people into the country in the first place.”

Walker added: “If people want to come here and work hard in this country, I don’t care if you come from Mexico or Canada or Ireland or Germany or South Africa or anywhere else. I want them here.”

Note to all, this is the correct way to disagree between two fine possible candidates.

I’d happy with Walker or Cruz; I might give the edge to Walker given his executive experience and proven ability to win swing voters.

I agree. Walker/Cruz or Cruz/Walker would be a winning ticket. Cruz has been likened to Calvin Coolidge. We could use a bit of Coolidge about now.

I like Walker but it is early.
He certainly seems best qualified to beat Romney or Bush.

Have to beat something with something.

The shutdowns always end.

RE :”.Heh. I have no respect for conservatives who feel the need to flat out lie about a candidate they dislike. It's like the “Chris Christie is pro-abortion” crowd who would repeat it over and over again, no matter how solid he ended up being on that issue while in office. And if their guy Mark Levin was telling his listeners the “pro-abortion” stuff, then he was flat out lying, too.”

I think in this case Levin and Rush realize they better have a real candidate to go up against Romney and Bush or its 2012 all over again, so they are praising Walker.

I recall clearly about this time 2011 Sarah Palin was going to announce ‘any day now’ in spite of her job as political commentator on FNC(same job she has now), and take out Romney as leading candidate.

If you suggested any other candidate here you would get hell by many.

Assumed facts early 2011:
1) Palin was indeed a candidate in spite of her FNC job and her official status (as not a candidate)
2) She would easily take out Romney, she was the only one that could, it was a two man race.
3) She would easily take out Obama, she was the only one that could, it was a two man race (I heard this before)

And forget about her quitting governor, she had a good reason: Dems turned up the heat in Alaska and were too mean to her, quitting made sense, but running against Obama and Romney, that was cake, they wouldn't try what those Alaskan Dems did, they were too principled,

The saying goes “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, except in some cases, where apparently the saying is “If it’s broke, break it more”.

He is the Governor of Wisconsin and not a Senator like Cruz who should be interested in securing the border which he has not at all......Walker will take care of it when he is President.
