Do you mean that the USD index will drop?

How will this affect gold, silver and other commodity prices?

Here in Colorado Springs the price for gas has gone UP 25 cents in the last ten days. What gives?

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah died.

No. Really.

Any hiccup in the Middle East is guaranteed to send tremors thru the oil market.

As soon as it becomes apparent that the Saudis' oil policy remains unchanged, the price will subside again.

Plus all the state and federal taxes are fixed per gallon regardless of the price per gallon.

Federal tax is 18.5 cents per gallon. State taxes are tacked on top of that. Texas adds an additional 20 cents per gallon. California adds an additional 50 cents.

It depends on where they produce it. Can be as low as $5/bbl in Saudi Arabia because it is just feet below the surface, to $75/bbl for some shale deposits and some deep sea rigs. Maybe average cost of all production is in the $30’s? Lots of other complicating factors as well such as Russian winters make it hard to make changes to production.

I hate government. governmentS impose a million different taxes and regulations on us and businesses.

I can estimate that the cost of all these taxes summed and regulations summed is probably at least 70% of our income ;and for what : government schools, global warming studies, IRS, EPA , housing projects, welfare and other bs .Ridiculous.

government, democrats and the media are the problem.

Imagine if idiot democrats would allow us to have only 1 tax a 10% sales tax and no gov regulations then the economy would take off and we’d all have a lot more money and opportunities in the business world.no income tax , no property tax, no gasoline tax etc.

A bit of unusually warm winter weather. Way up the hill from the Springs here, it's been running from $2.399 to $2.899. Visitors from the cities apparently enjoy paying for it.

The DC Tribe can go to hell. That is all.

Any DC Tribesman who suggest increasing the gas tax should be tarred and feathered and tossed in the Potomac.
