Second Amendment supporters took to OpenCarry.orgs forum to spread the word about the event, and to plan out their attendance to make maximum profit.
A $25 gift card for "high capacity magazines - like the ones you can buy for $8? questioned one forum member.
Another forum member, named "We-the-People," explained he would be attending the event to make $200 profit off of the two junker pistols that I purchased for the purpose.
Members also planned to intercept attendees bringing in valuable guns, offering them cash before they could go inside and accept the gift cards.
I picked up five weapons including a Model 11 Remington SemiAuto 12-gauge from 1926, a Mossberg bolt-action 20-gauge from 1947-1950
AND a pre-1900, 12-gauge breech action with Damascus barrel......AND....... a couple of 22 pistols, wrote the member.

“...who offered gift cards to superstore Fred Meyer in return for guns...and high capacity magazines were worth $25 credits at the store, which ironically sells firearms.”
There’s a new firearm available at a “discounted price” for some enterprising individuals...considering 30-round mags can be had for $8-10.
How long before Obama’s sons and Holder’s People start showing up at these buybacks to legally pick up some good weapons at bargain prices?
Hmmm,
I have a 3d printer. I’m thinking that I could print the frame and slide for a 1911, then using the lost wax casting method and some aluminum or scrap metal, cast a few dozen of these. Spot weld the slide onto the frame. Print a few grips and epoxy them on to the frame, and poof, I have a gun to turn in.
I might even get $50 or $75 for that paper wight. Now if I turn in say 10 guns per trip ..... Or I could just print plastic 30 round non-working magazines.
I might be able to make some decent side money.
It’s not a “Gun Buyback”. These firearms never belonged to the government and the government can’t buy “back” what it never owned in past. The correct way to name this kind of anti-gun event would be “Gun Buy-up”.
Great idea, but in some states, this would be difficult to impossible.
The leftists, including their lapdog media, do this on purpose. They always try to set the agenda and the definition within any topic so that after several years the gullible populace not only uses the same words and definitions but actually believe those definitions to be true.
Gun “buybacks” have become the new gun show venue.
I wish they’d do this around me. I have a big pile of green follower AR mags I’m replacing with Magpuls. $25 would buy one new Magpul magazine and a box of 5.56 practice ammo.
I’ll take that deal all day long.

I’d be worried about confronting zombies like this, going to turn in guns like idiots. Broward country FL is THE land of brain-dead morons.
That and I’m broke.
You get my nomination for post of the month. You have it exactly right. Good catch.
If I lived in a state where a private-party sale was legal, I’d stake out every “buyback” in my area.
I’d love to take a huge wad of cash, and watch for vintage Colts and Winchesters.
