1 - They’re making money because your lack of leadership and caving to the left really make us mad.

2 - Too many of the “Tea Party” groups ARE enriching themselves and NOT using the money to elect conservatives. One of them had only spent $1.5M toward the 2014 election and had $10M still in the bank.

I agree. There are one or two groups whose leaders seem to me to be enriching themselves, exactly in the manner he suggests. The amount spent by one group in Louisiana was very very small in my opinion. Like wise, the effort this same group expended in Eric Cantor’s opponent’s case was very minimal, if any at all.

I despise Boehner and his leadership. But at the same time, we need to do a better job of policing the groups that purport to represent us. Giving them money simply because they use the words “Tea Party” in their charter is not an option for me. If we don’t, Boehner will just get more ammunition to obfuscate his positions.

This is absolutely true, unfortunately. And true of many groups/celebrities on our side.

I believe you’re right on both counts. Early on I thought there were problems in that the Tea Party had too many self appointed leaders within the many groups and a lack of structure. I believe that has kept many of the Conservative groups from unifying. I do believe that the Tea Party of Mississippi has done somewhat better ay unifying the groups but still suffer here in Desoto County because of the disaster that was our first Tea Party. There is now a growing coalition of county Conservative organizations that are connected that have elected officers regular meetings and are structured. This appears to be growing because of the actions of the gop-e and cochran campaign in our Senatorial primary.
