I’m a liar because I wouldn’t be caught dead with a sign like that? Really? As far as your other statement, I am an an infantry combat veteran. Take your anonymous passive aggressiveness elsewhere son.
OK, I take back “Pussy.” Thank you for your service.
But but you wouldn’t throw stones and yet....
And you’d “Never...?”
Seriously, I’m a christian, too, and a firefighter, but I’m afraid I could never say “never” when it comes to my language.
In a perfect world, maybe, but Michael Moore?
If you are indeed a follower of Christ, I exhort you to refrain from vile name calling on the internet or in real life. You are to be a light!
I’ve made mistakes, sure, I would be a liar if I said I didn’t. That’s why we need a Savior. Now, I would never allow myself to be pictured with a sign like that. Never! Because I would not place myself in that situation.
Only had to go back 13 posts to find this...

140 - yours ?
Amen. Just as there are no atheists in foxholes, there are also no grammar Nazis.
Lots of Americans are already going through circumstances wherein "God" and profanity share sentences and paragraphs throughout the day. God alone knows our heart; He knows our struggles; and He sometimes calls us to battle, even though war is hell.
I agree F You M Moore!
It seems to read “Yeah Michael Moore Sarah Palin”
Could the sign have been “incomplete” when Sarah wrote that? And then finished later?
Why the two crosses (plus signs not typical Christian crosses) in the double-o of Moore?
Now it really does strike me as curious. She really would not be likely to have endorsed the sign in the state shown.
It’s fair enough to ask ourselves, however, what we really mean. There are certain expressions not compatible with gospel and they remain so even if you are about to become Caesar’s cats’ chow.
We can’t just take scissors to the bible and cut out the parts about “possess your vessel in sanctification and honor” or “let the marriage bed [i.e. sexual relations] be undefiled.” Or “let no corrupt communication come from your mouth.”
“God rebuke you” is way more typical gospel than “Fuc_.” Not even Paul’s sarcastic hints that circumcision legalists ought to castrate themselves (actually the term is cut themselves off, which may in part be a reference to the Jewish legal penalty of cutting a particularly bad sinner off from the community) quite go to the level of “Fuc_.”
God offers us two possibilities. Get on His wavelength (which is a relentless, heroic love) or else get shunted to hell. Filth like Michael’s current output does not fly with heaven not because he is Michael Moore but because it refuses to reflect God. Can we make it fly with heaven, I don’t suggest it is wise to try.
Says who and why not?
This site has more than it's share of the emotionally stunted. Every time I see someone here spell the word "hell" or other "naughty words" with a * or %#@$ in place of actual letters, I call them out on their infantilism. The weak minded need to be pointed out.
Try the bible. It is one of the documents upon which all founding fathers agreed in the main.
You might check a mirror for an infant.
Where does the Bible address the so- called “F word”?
You can’t win the “no bad language” argument on Biblical grounds. Sorry. And yes, if you are afraid of the “potty words”, you are an infant, or at least an infantile mind.
Can you prove it by the bible?
I am not “afraid of potty words.” I fear God, whose authority is behind the plenarily inspired biblical admonition “Let no corrupt communication come from your mouth.”
“Then its a good thing I am Jewish. ;)”
Judaism does seem to have certain advantages. When lots of the world already has an irrational hatred for you and your kin, you don’t much have to worry about being offensive.
Je suis Charlie Martel.
Sarah’s kids are growing up.
There is lots of time, in her life now.
Yes. The so- called "F Word" and the other words that have been arbitrarily decided upon in modern times to be "profanity" , are generally Anglo-Saxon in origin, or originate in other languages unknown to the Bible authors.
So the Bible has no opinion on modern day Anglo Saxon "profanity" . We are free to decide that those words are perfectly appropriate, if we wish, just like they has previously somehow been decided by some dubious means, to not be appropriate.
