Zakrchenko, the leader of the Donetsk Rebels, has flatly said he will no longer participate in the Minsk agreement today.
He says the rebels are willing to negotiate under new conditions, and new protocol.
Minsk was a joke from the start, it was just giving them time to send in new supplies and equipment and troops from Russia
Let the Russian bodies hit the floor.
Gee what a surprise.
The question is why Putin gave them the green light now.
I did see Russian accusations of Ukraine stealing from the gas pipeline last week or so.
“The question is why Putin gave them the green light now.”
As I keep saying, look at the bigger picture.
Putin likely wants this settled, now, (or at least the advantage), to clear the decks for the upcoming Syria confrontation that Obama wants authorization for.
The political situation was getting tense in Kiev before this, so they likely think this is the time to lay on the pressure.

DNR administration: the previous CeaseFire was a grave error, they reject Minsk agreements, will negotiate only with Poroshenko
Ukraine’s Fault(tm).
Radio Free Europe reporting Zakharchenko told students in Donetsk, “We will advance to the very borders of Donetsk Oblast.” This of course bodes ill for any sort of reconciliation, any time soon that is. More death. More destruction.

Putin’s “Little Green Men” could easily be in Kiev by spring. Not a pleasant thought but perhaps US establishing a “trip-wire?” Cooler heads must prevail, and soon, or this thing will get completely out of control!
Ukrainian rebels, led by Moscow (Grilkov), armed by Moscow, reinforced by Moscow. Yep, al all Ukrainian affair according to Soviet/Russian apologist Prof. Stephen Cohen (NYU, formerly Princeton, on the John Batchelor Show, the same Communist line he has been promoting since the 1980’s, or even earlier.
The Russkies have been bombing Ukrainian cities for the past month now, not just those places where they could reach from Donetsk, but also performing terrorist bombings within Ukrainian cities, and closer to the front lines, the Russkies have engaged in constant bombings of Donetsk Airport and everywhere else, while the media has been entirely silent.
Of course, you rat Putinistas on the forum would also gladly pretend that none of that has been happening.
I also note how you are openly speaking of Putin "giving the green light," when not too long ago you were still telling us how the "separatists" were getting their tanks from off their front yards or stuff, cuz all Russkies just happen to have them lying around and stuff.
“Of course, you rat Putinistas on the forum would also gladly pretend that none of that has been happening.”
BOTH sides have been doing it. It’s a civil war.
No say three “Bandera Akbar!”’s, and call me in the morning.
You're a liar, and you out yourself as a boot licking Putinist. Thanks for that, scum!
You forgot to add the required “Bandera Ahkbar!” at the end of that.
Careful. The Chechens fighting for the Russians might come after you.
“Pro-Russian Rebels” don’t decide a thing. Putin does.
hold on, weren’t you the guy who was once caught quoting off a banned anti-Catholic website on FR, then lying about it... then you admitted lying about it?
Not saying there are no lies here, but should you be calling tcrfl a liar?
