It hardly matters if they are liberals or conservatives.
They vote, and what they think matters.
Ignore the thought process of the masses, and I will
show you a bunch of losers. Mourdock was no liberal.
He did not say anything which was not conservative.
Yet he lost big in INDIANA!
Yeah baby, voters matter!
Elections matter!!
What we need are some candidates who are “Linos”, LIBERAL in name only who will cater to the lib voters to get elected and then turn into arch conservatives once they are elected. Unfortunately such people don’t seem to exist. Basically we have two kinds of political candidates, those who admit to being liberals and those who say they believe in the constitution but vote with the liberals. Even those who are considered die hard constitutionalists support programs which violate the constitution and we have a supreme court which generally lets us down at crucial times. With the court system we have now the general attitude, although unspoken, seems to be that the founders sweated for months to produce a document which may as well have had a final line saying, “Just kidding, ignore all this and do whatever you want to do.” At the present, there are ZERO effective limits on what the federal government can do and it is amazing to talk to voters who call themselves “very conservative” but are willing to endorse much of this growing tyranny.
Long before Obamacare I became aware that a high percentage of “conservative” voters were convinced that we needed a single payer health care system with the federal government taking over medicine completely. This is very disturbing, anyone who ever thought anything good would come from a government takeover of medicine is in a class with those who would follow behind a “Golden Palamino” horse expecting him to drop golden apples. I am not being facetious, I mean that to be taken literally, you have to be that disconnected from reality to think that federal control of medicine COULD ever produce good results.
