Hillary Rodham Clinton holds double-digit leads over potential Republican challengers Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney as the likely Democratic presidential candidate moves closer to entering the 2016 race, a new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds.
Although Clinton, Bush and Romney are all longtime politicians and members of political dynasties, registered voters are less likely to count that familiarity against Clinton. That is a good sign for Clinton, a failed 2008 presidential candidate and the focus of Republican criticism that her time has come and gone.
Clintons potential to make history as the first female U.S. president makes little difference to most voters and is a net positive for others.

What if we had an election and nobody came.
wow, against liberal Republicans a democrat wins...will someone alert Haley Barbour and KArl Rove!
That is just...too...funny!
Gee, there is no way that these numbers have been fixed. /s
Just a hangover - it’ll pass.
by those with double-digit IQs.
I saw my first “Hillary 2016” bumper sticker this week.
And so it begins............................
The start up of this GOP lead congress is making the Obamacare start up look like a professional gig.
I have never seen such a bag of looser playing cluster f—k as the house and senate GOP. it is shameful and embarrassing. They wont survive 2015 forget about 2016.
We have what I call the “Librino” party today. It’s one party running the entire country made up of Liberals and RINOs so I call it the LibRino party. These “elections” are faux elections because they push people who belong to the same party. It doesn’t matter who wins because you end up with the same thing. If Romney or Jeb or Hitlery wins, what is the difference? You get the same thing. That’s why I think every Conservative that is thinking of running should do so as an Independent. It’s too late for a new party, if Cruz or Palin or Scott Walker runs, they should do so as independents because if they are foolish enough to side with the Librino party their campaign is going to be sabotaged to make way for one of their token Librinos and Hitlery will win.
Good sign for conservatives if liberal GOP candidates are unelectable.
LOL!!!!
“It is amazing that people believe this poll.”
Andrea Tantaros on O”\’Gasbag tonight said that it’s because Hitlary has yet to open her mouth. When she has to start campaigning, that’s when she will drop in the polls.
If the choice is between a real liberal and a RINO then the sheeple will pick the real thing every time.
Establishment types will fight eat each other up. Mitt should be reminded he had his chance and, with such nice manners, let Obama win two debates by not showing any righteous indignation. Jeb has acquired some bad ideas. Hillary is a shrill OLD witch but the media will destroy any GOP candidate for not being "cool enough". A fat ugly bag with money...with NO achievements in the Senate and a world worse than when she became Secretary of State, and she is going to have a cake walk to the White House.
Disgusting.
Hey! I came up with that ticket proposal first!!!
maybe they only called people in DC&New York?
Why shouldn't they "believe" it? If idiots read about polls taken two years before an election, and they "believe" them, what exactly do you think they are believing?
Michael Dukakis had double digit leads over HW Bush in the summer of 1988. Jimmy Carter had a double digit lead over Ronald Reagan ON LABOR DAY 1980.
Polls are meaningless. "Believing" a poll is both meaningless, and a sign of stupidity.
There will be an election campaign (probably) in 2016. It will start around Labor Day. Voters will make up their minds between October 15 and October 25, 2016.
Events will happen between now and then. It's 655 days away. That's a VERY long time.
“If you are not a big corporate executive campaign contributor, a K Street lobbyist, or a member of the Country Club set, the GOPe does not care about you.”
Welcome to DU, comrade.
Hellary will get smoked in the primary. May be a hispanic commie this time.
