Silver, who has been one of the most powerful lawmakers in Albany for more than two decades, surrendered to authorities Thursday morning. A five-count federal complaint accuses him of accepting millions from firms seeking him to wield influence in Albany on their behalf.

Rush should be allll over this.
But so far?
Nothing.
So weird.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He’ll probably get a lighter sentence than Bob McDonnell did on Virginia.
...IN Virginia...
He doesn’t live in NY any more.................
That is a mere pittance compared to what Drunkin Boehner & McConnell and friends collected from big biz, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Enemies and traitors everywhere, patriots hard to find.
The papers filed on it.
NY audits him EVERY year.
Huuuge resentment, there, and Rush is never petty.
NY is BEGGING Rush to dance on it’s face.
This sort of thing might be related to why it seems like every one of these a-holes somehow seem to become a multi-millionaire over the course of their tenure in “public service.”
Gee, what’d he do to Holder? Forget to give out a contract to a “minority” firm that Holder has an interest in?
Bet they didn’t go in with guns drawn on Mr. Silver. Probably all polite like.
For sure!
Example: The Clinton’s went into the WH dead broke, one step up from trailer trash (didn’t own a home of their own) and began stuffing their pockets from the instant they crossed the threshold. It hasn’t stopped, either.
The funny thing is, they conducted themselves JUST like people who are NOT used to having money. It was apparent in everything they did and said.
Still trailer trash.
Rush is too busy talking about the Patriots’ deflated footballs and Bill Belichick. Those topics are much more important to him.
Anyone else recall that corruption investigation that Andrew Cuomo tried to squash?
This sounds like the same investigation.
How can this be?
Rush hasn’t lived in NY for years?...................
This is that investigation. Mr. Silver's problems stem from information turned up during the investigation that Cuomo quashed. Unfortunately for Mr. Silver, he quashed it a little too late.
Which I'm certain was not by accident.
Wish Cuomo would get nailed for improper influence of an investigation.
There are special rules for big earners who move around a lot.
If Rush so much as does a NY touch and go, NY will claim he’s broadcasing from there, I.e. working in the state of New York and therefore subject to taxation.
if you scroll down the article, two paragraphs after the picture
you'll find out that Silver is a Democrat.
Shhhhhh.
So how do Al Sharpton and Charlie Rangel walk free? Oh wait...
