Boehner and Bibi blindside Barack

There is a heaping helping of poetic justice in Speaker Boehner’s invitation to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress on Iran sanctions. Just a week ago, the president stood alongside British PM David Cameron as he confessed to lobbying Senators on Iran sanctions, not uttering a peep about any impropriety in a foreign head of government interfering in domestic politics.

Of course, that didn’t stop press secretary Josh Earnest, who will say anything, from protesting:

Press secretary Josh Earnest said Wednesday afternoon that Boehner's invitation is a breach of normal diplomatic protocol. Typically, a nation's leader would contact the White House before planning a visit to the United States, he said. The White House heard about the invite from Boehner's office, not from the Israelis.

Boehner has made it clear that the stakes are high and Congress is not going to remain silent as Obama lets the Armageddon-seeking mullahs get their hands on the nuclear weapons with which to accomplish their long-stated aim of wiping Israel off the map.

"[Obama's] exact message to us was: 'Hold your fire.' He expects us to stand idly by and do nothing while he cuts a bad deal with Iran. Two words: 'Hell no!'" the House speaker said during his weekly press briefing on Wednesday. "We're going to do no such thing."

Speaking of that deal, Obama is offering up more bargaining chips to the Iranians with no strings attached. Josh Kredo writes in the Free Beacon:

The Obama administration on Wednesday paid $490 million in cash assets to Iran and will have released a total of $11.9 billion to the Islamic Republic by the time nuclear talks are scheduled to end in June, according to figures provided by the State Department.

I do not trust him/them either.
But I do trust in the Lord God Almighty who has given us these leaders, just what we as a nation have deserved because we have turned our collective back on Him and the One He sent to give us forgiveness of sins and a new life to live. Instead, man keeps on going his own way, seeking his own gods, thinking he is master of his fate.
It (the truth) is all laid out in the Bible, all of it, written by men who were inspired by God—the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

“Too clever a move for Boehner to ever think of it”

Then you say that Bibbi must have suggested it.

A third possibility is that a member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Terrorism and Non Proliferation could have broached the idea.

According to Wikipedia:

United States House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade

The U.S. House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade is a standing subcommittee within the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

According to the committee rules, the Terrorism Subcommittee has “oversight and legislative responsibilities over the United States’ efforts to manage and coordinate international programs to combat terrorism”. It also has oversight over nonproliferation matters involving nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons, as well as weapons of mass destruction in general. It also oversees international economic and trade policy; commerce with foreign countries; international investment policy. Agencies and organizations within its jurisdiction include the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, and the Export-Import Bank.

Members, 113th Congress

Majority

Ted Poe, Texas, Chairman
Joe Wilson, South Carolina
Adam Kinzinger, Illinois
Mo Brooks, Alabama
Tom Cotton, Arkansas
Paul Cook, California
Scott Perry, Pennsylvania
Ted Yoho, Florida

I don’t care why Boehner did it—I am glad he did—in this he is acting the way he should.

“Then you say that Bibbi must have suggested it.”

***************
That is exactly what I’m saying. I don’t know this for sure, of course, but a clever maneuver like this is totally out of character for Boehner, or for that matter even his listless and timid party. The GOP has to be pushed to do anything.

And after the way Bibbi has been treated by the White Hut it seems he may be following the old adage: “don’t get mad, get even”.

Well, the “why” he did it is the motive within—which is the real man. Not saying outward actions don’t matter, they eventually will be revealed to match up w/the inner “why”—at judgment time.
However, Boehner has a track record of compromise that most people he’s not an honest man.

Enjoy the moment because there won’t be many more of them. You can be sure that Boehner didn’t just suddenly decide to start acting like a leader. More likely he had to be pushed into this. I’s have to see a series of bold moves before I believe he’s taking on the constructive role of being a “New Sherrif” in town.

“Personally I believe that this was a political move on Boehner’s part to placate and manipulate conservatives.”

That may be true, but with the recent events in Paris and the subsequent intentional determination of the president and his people to control the narrative and ban the used of the words Islamic Terror, etc., it will be very good to have a plainspoken Netanyahu address the representatives of the people, right in the face of the muslim-sympathizing, protecting, coddling and assisting administration.

Is Earnest still cropping the “News” portion of “FOXNews” off of White House press placards.

Congress is a coequal branch of government. Obama and the Progs may not like it, but the fact remains. And whatever the motivation I’m glad that Boeher is reinforcing that through this mechanism.

There’s a great British tradition that the door to Parliament gets slammed shut before the Monarch arrives for her annual address. As a reminder that even Kings and Queens should know their place. We should institute something like that here as a reminder to any President (regardless of Party) who starts having imperial visions.

I’ll bet valerie jarrett the Iranian communist muslim brotherhood friend is spitting tacks. She is the Alger Hiss entirely behind the letting Iran get away with nuclear weapon development. And has SS protection—had it immediately after obama was sworn in. What law authorized that nobody knows.

Obama and his minions have set the template for this action by Congress. He’s ignored not only the Constitution, but precedent and coopted power for himself that is not designated to him.

Congress is perfectly within their rights at this point to negotiate in areas that were reserved for the other branches.

What Obama has done is trash the process.

I didn’t saything against Netanyahu’s address; I’m extremely excited and grateful to GOD for that—
for I know that no matter what wicked or deceitful men’s motives may be, God is in control and His purpose and plan will be accomplished, for He says that He “causes ALL things to work together for good to THOSE WHO LOVE GOD, to THOSE WHO ARE CALLED according to His purpose.
(Romans 8:28)
