Looks to me like the guy is repeatedly shoving on the door while the cop is telling him to not move. Then he forces the door open and gets out.

The account I read is that a few seconds earlier, Days had ordered the men to get out of the car, and Reid said he wasn’t getting out of the ——ing car. Then the officers started yelling hands up, let me see your hands and trying to open the car doors themselves. Sounds like Days already had the gun from the glove compartment.
Another case of police officers going into escalation, hostility and intimidation mode and issuing confusing, contradictory commands that are impossible to comply with.
Don’t move! Get on the ground! Don’t move! Hands in the air!
