There’s nothing reasonable behind all of that and I wonder if Texas laws are as strict about these things... I was also surprised about your ‘donation’ comment because I know we are able to freely donate any used clothing to charities and places like Goodwill.

I had three daughters that I sewed for and have done all kinds of creative sewing. Mentioning that because I noticed your sewing thread when it started, but I haven’t sewed in many years now.

I’m sorry you ran into all these useless laws!

These are US laws, not state laws. I’m not sure when they went into effect, but many people aren’t aware that they exist.

Yeah, there wasn’t much participation in the sewing thread, so I stopped doing it. :) I’m enjoying learning though. I’ve made my little guy lots of stuff now. Currently working on a lined fleece jacket with an inner nylon layer to cut the wind.
