The people just summarily repudiated liberalism in the November election. It is one thing for Obama through his actions to lurch left, it is another to telegraph it in words.

If I were one of the few remaining Democrats in the chamber, I’m not sure I could enthusiastically applaud this spectacle. It is clear he is destroying the Donkey party.
