NFL highlights of Seahawks/Packers NFC championship game.
Thanks for the link. Some friends missed it and now they can catch it with no commercials.
The showed a picture of those that left the stadium in the last five minutes. They wouldn't let them back in and had to watch the game on a monitor. Bwwwwwwwwwwa!
I see - when the teams you like lose, the games are rigged. Uh, ok...
Dewey Defeats Truman
1. On first seahawks td drive twas 2nd and 31 ... should have been 2nd and 46...Wilson had been sacked and seahawks lineman flaggd for diving on top of tackler
..Wilson was down when late hit was flagged...should have been 46 yds to go as should have been ruled a dead ball penalty but white hat strangEly ruled it ive ball so of.course penalty declined...seahawks would have not recovered and would have lost game. 2. On 2nd td drive Kearse was heading down sideline opposite press box...packer dB had beat on overthrown ball...any defender doing obvious hold with ball in air would have been.flagged...Kearse as receiver got away with it...a flag would have jeopardized seahawk drive. 3. I know refs missed a maxwell facemask.of Jody nelson early in game but don’t think it impacted drive or game.

No, what I see is that even when they have challenges and instant replay the ‘officials’ still make the wrong calls. In addition, the ‘explanation’ from the league VP leaves much to be desired. ;-)
And.....the way in which the chicken hawks ‘won’ was a little.....unusual.
Any ref critiques that allowed the Packers to beat the Cowboys?
As stated earlier, I was referring to all of the playoffs, not only the chicken hawks. I agree that there were no obvious, blown calls in the Packer game and I agree that the Packers blew it. All I said about that game is that the outcome was unusual. ;-)
The blown call in the Detroit game and the blown call in the Dallas game were the examples to which I referred. The ‘officials’ blew the calls even with ‘The play is under review’! Does not that cast suspicion on the whole deal? ;-)
“...but Seattle didn’t quit, didn’t panic, and didn’t point fingers.”
The NFL put together several films called “Turning Points” that outline the game. Well done with sideline shots, mic’ed up players, etc. The Seahawks seemed to have a more positive and upbeat mood the entire time - even when down 16-0. Lots of high energy chatter, etc.
The Packers on the sidelines at 16-0 seemed subdued in comparison. Wilson would be all amped up and yelling to his players “We got this! We got this! Play to win!!” The few times they had the mike on Rodgers it sounded like he was at a board meeting rather than a football field.
It turned out to be a pretty stupid game.
The Packers played a better game save the few, critical moments of spasticity.
So what’s your prediction? Seahawks or Pats?
Beats me! I’m a Seahwaks fan - so of course I hope they win. But the Patriots seem really good. Of course I was worried about the Broncos last year.... I don’t think they will have a game like they did against the Packers. I sure hope not - that was terrible!
It is too bad that this whole ball thing is taking over the airwaves. I’m guessing that once they get down there there will be some other distraction - probably involving Marshawn Lynch not talking to the media.
Richard Sherman has been behaving himself. He was giving a press conference and said he was only talking in platitudes this year - so that the attention could be placed on some of the other players and that they would get recognition.
Sherman should have been pulled given the arm injury. Keeping him in was unnecessary in my opinion.
I’m a Pat’s fan. If the Seahawks win, I’ll give an extra $20 to the Freepathon Q1.
I’m not sure anybody could have taken Sherman out. Or kept Earl Thomas out either. Thomas did something to his shoulder and they wrapped it up. He practiced today but no hits. After Thomas went back in the game he knocked some guy out of bounds with that same shoulder and sent him into the bench.
I’m pretty sure that Sherman made a tackle after he was hurt on a critical third down and kept them short.
I’ll take your $20 bet and do the same if the Seahawks lose!
Well, if benched and the Seahawks lost, all Hell would have broken loose regardless of actual effectiveness towards the end of the game.
Anyway, looking forward to the Super Bowl, and your $20 contribution to the Q1 Freepathon :)
Bump... ;)
