Chris Kyle is 100% awesome, always! I know he’s dead, but I bet his corpse could kill a criminal and a muslim at the same time.

I wonder what it was about that F-350 that made everyone want it. Supposedly, the lowlife, maggot that murdered Kyle told his sister that he murdered Chris because he wanted that truck.

WAIT. I have been told repeatedly that things like this didn’t happen in Texas.

Another famous sniper, Dr Ruth Westheimer.
Not of the caliber of Chris Kyle but pretty good...all 4'7" of her.

Two guys approached him with pistols and demanded his money and the keys to his truck. With his hands in the air, he sized up which man seemed most confident with his gun.... ...He told the robbers that he just needed to reach back into the truck to get the keys. He turned around and reached under his winter coat instead, into his waistband. With his right hand, he grabbed his Colt 1911. He fired two shots under his left armpit, hitting the first man twice in the chest. Then he turned slightly and fired two more times, hitting the second man twice in the chest. Both men fell dead.
I love a story with a happy ending.

Having read around the Web this weekend about Chris Kyle, I think the general consensus, with which I agree, is that this story, among others, was a complete fabrication and have no supporting evidence in police records or elsewhere.
I loved the movie, but it is clear that, in addition to being a top sniper, Kyle was also the master of tall tales. Ask Jesse Ventura about that.

Being in the military forced him to move a lot, and neither of his children was born in Texas. But for each birth, he had family send a box of dirt from homeso the first ground his kids feet touched would be Texas soil. He was outspoken on a lot of issues. He believed strongly in the Second Amendment, politely decrying the incredible stupidity of gun control laws anytime he was asked. Great post...

I’ve got a good friend who’s a Vietnam vet, special forces. He was involved in a lot of action and is lucky to be alive right now. He was also an instructor for years at Delta Force. He is an expert on any weapon you can think of. He is also a 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. This is a bad dude, definitely one you want on your side. He’s 65 years old now and is still as tough as he was when he was 25.
But he’s also the biggest teller of tale tales in the world. He loves to bullshit constantly. He’s “been there, done that” and wants others to know it. That’s how he copes. The original Billy Badass. But he would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it. Some guys that have did a lot in the military are damn proud of it and talk a lot, some talk to much. Some don’t talk at all. It’s their way of dealing with things. We’re all human. RIP to all my brothers that didn’t make it back from whatever war they fought in and God bless the ones that are still fighting the war 24/7. RIP Chris Kyle.
