This really is a dig at Eastwood, whom Moore always tries to play off at crazy. Just Google Michael Moore and Clint Eastwood.
Moore, in 2005, ended up being a presenter of an award at a Review Board Awards dinner. When Eastwood accepted his award, he said to Moore, “Show up at my front door and I’ll kill you.” Eastwood was referring to the video assault Moore pulled on Alzhiemer sufferer Charleston Hesston in one of Moore’s documentaries. It was a low theatrical stunt pulled by Moore.
Moore, ever the idiot, couldn’t differentiate between Eastwood playing his Dirty Harry role and being serious. Moore, unable to take a joke or deal with a relatively meaningless threat never misses a chance to smear Eastwood.
If Moore had any character at all he would have showed up at Eastwood’s door. I might actually pay to see a Moore production to see that.

They could be sitting on piles of money in their mega mansions and they actually have convinced themselves that they are not rich, because if they came to that realization, they would see that who they actually hate are themselves

It’s probably because he is such a large target, he feels “exposed.”
I watched an interview with this guy a few years ago. I concluded that he is mentally deranged and delusional and he is incapable of disguising it. There are a lot of head cases on the left and they are welcomed into the communist fold. It is really all about body count. No one is too stupid. The biggest and loudest idiots are the most useful.
