Clearly he was a crappy general. How else could his rep. as one of history’s greatest generals have survived for so long. Duh!

The south might have won the war in 1862 but for Jackson's terrible showing in the Seven Days Battles. Jackson could not get along with his fellow generals and could naver have been more than a corps commander IMO.
