All it would take is for ONE State to just Abolish Marriage altogether. Just Refuse to acknowledge any marriage at the State Level. No Benefits for ANYONE but the Individual. And NO MARRIAGE at all Statewide.

CALL their Bluff.

Sounds drastic, but it might be all that is left. Legal scorched earth.

Elimination of state recognition of marriage is a fall back position. It may be necessary to protect churches that will not perform homosexual “marriage”. I am not ready to go there yet, but the SCOTUS decision might change that.

One of the messy areas to deal with is adoption.

Yes, states should cease to recognize or register marriages (period).
If you sit and think about it,
why is government (at any level) involved with marriage, anyway?
