All it would take is for ONE State to just Abolish Marriage altogether. Just Refuse to acknowledge any marriage at the State Level. No Benefits for ANYONE but the Individual. And NO MARRIAGE at all Statewide. Sounds drastic, but it might be all that is left. Legal scorched earth.
