Maybe prohibition creates more problems than it solves. Just a thought.

Some quick math...
Dude in article claims to have sold half of his 280 lbs of weed.

140lbs x 16 ox. per pound = 2240 oz.

Article says it sells for 23-25 dollars per gram.
2240 oz. x 28 grams per ounce = 62720 grams total

62720 grams x 23 dollars per gram = 1,442,560.00

Looks like a pretty decent living to me. Perhaps they are taking too long of smoke breaks on the job? :) or they are spending their profits on munchies.

"Maybe prohibition creates more problems than it solves. Just a thought."

In this case, legalization is causing the problem of the U.S. exporting marijuana to countries where it remains illegal. In violation of international treaties.

Not content to merely export our sex and violence, we've now added marijuana. I'm guessing you support the legalization of all drugs, and look forward to the U.S. having the reputation of supplying heroin to children worldwide.

Maybe you should examine the alternative before you conclude the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. People simply do not understand how bad it would be to have legalized drugs.
